SOCIAL DISTANCING AND FACE COVERING INFORMATION

In accordance with New York State health orders and CDC guidelines, vineyard visitors must comply with the following guidelines:

  • All guests will have their temperature taken when they arrive.

  • We are following the CDC guidelines. Guests that are vaccinated do not need to wear a mask.

  • Do not visit our vineyard if you have any symptoms of Coronavirus. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.

  • Do not visit the vineyard if you have been in contact with someone recently who has tested positive for Coronavirus or is suspected of having Coronavirus.

  • Use hand sanitizer as often as necessary (hand sanitizer stations will be located at the entrance, experience, restrooms, and exit).

  • Cover coughs or sneezes with a tissue and sanitize your hands afterward.

Here are additional protocols and procedures in place to keep our guests and our staff safe:

  1. Sanitation Guidelines. Our Culinary and tasting room departments have been long recognized for their high standards of sanitation in the foodservice and hospitality industry. We are conducting daily team meetings to training and to reiterate proper sanitation protocols and procedures to provide the safest experience we can for our customers. Please note, additional hand sanitizer stations have been placed throughout the vineyard.

  2. Employee Health & Safety.  Our Safety Coordinator has been very busy this year. He is overseeing employee education about protecting against viruses, such as Coronavirus (COVID-19), which has continued regularly since January. All employees must follow the Center for Disease Control’s general guidelines for washing hands frequently, using hand sanitizers, maintaining social distances, wearing face coverings when around others, covering when you cough/sneeze, and cleaning disinfecting high-touch areas regularly. Del Vino Vineyards has always had a policy about ill employees not coming to work. No employee is allowed to come to work if they are starting to feel sick or show any sickness symptoms. Employees must take their temperature before work.

  3. Food Service. Foodservice is currently limited to outside patio and lawn tables only. The Del Vino culinary staff follows the safety and sanitation guidelines of the health department, as always. In addition to the above, our culinary team has additional procedures for handling, serving, and storing food, as well as sanitizing tools and surfaces.

  4. Indoor Space. Our indoor space is limited in tables.

  5. Restrooms. As our guests know, the cleanliness of our restrooms has always been the gold standard in the industry. We will raise the bar and clean them even more frequently.

  6. Guest Health & Safety. If you are sick or begin showing any symptoms of illness, please help us ensure the safety of our guests. Please cancel your Reservation to safeguard the health, safety, and enjoyment of our vineyard experience. Guests who exhibit any symptoms of a cold or virus will be asked to return home.

We will continue to do all that we can to ensure our guests' safety and our employees.
