Del Vino Vineyards of Northport has been named one of OpenTable’s Top 100 Restaurants in America for the fourth year in a row. One of seven New York restaurants to receive the honor, and the only Long Island business on the list, owners Lisa and Fred Giachetti see the recognition as a testament to their commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Del Vino Vineyards opened in 2018 and was built on a 90-year-old apple farm, with the original farm house that was lifted and preserved during construction. The restaurant offers a tapas-style dining experience and an extensive wine collection.
OpenTable is an online reservation service that’s used by more than 60,000 restaurants worldwide. The top 100 list highlights the most sought-after dining destinations in the country, according to the company’s press release. The list is compiled by analyzing more than 14 million diner reviews, along with diner ratings, percentage of five-star reviews and reservation demand. The restaurants’ percentage of capacity and direct online searches were also used as data points during the evaluation process. Metrics were weighted to comprise an overall score, which was used to rank the list.
The list includes restaurants from 53 cities, with Chicago and Austin making up the highest percentage of honorees. Within New York, the following restaurants also made the OpenTable list:
ASKA, Brooklyn
The River Cafe, Brooklyn
Gallagher's Steakhouse - Manhattan, New York City
Palma, New York City
The Odeon, New York City
Lucia’s on the Lake, Hamburg

opentable using reservation demand and actual diner ratings makes this list way more reliable than most. i was just browsing for unblocked games on my phone and stumbled on this news. since it is the only li place to make the cut the waitlist is probably already huge so better check the app soon if you want a spot.
